Drawing inspiration from classic paintings and a wide range of sources and life experiences, Lotus reinterprets the use of light and shadow in its own way , playing with angles and composition to improve the graphic quality of his images. Nature is a recurring motif in his photography, a clear echo of his childhood. Lotus often mixes high fashion with a rural or wild setting and includes exotic animals in her compositions, using elements that link the rarefied atmosphere of the fashion industry with the organic beauty of the natural world. In 2011, Greg Lotus presented "IMPRESSIONS", the first solo exhibition of his photographic works, in New York. The 34 pieces presented in the exhibition represent the highlights of his 20-year career. In 2012, his new exhibition "IMAGES" was presented during Art Basel in Miami.
