MR BRAINWASH "Life is Beautiful: A success story"
About Mr. Brainwash:
MBW (filmmaker and Street Pop artist Thierry Guetta) (1966) brought his art to six continents and created album artworks, campaigns, music videos and installations for iconic figures, brands and pop legends: Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Dalai Lama, the White House, Coca Cola, Mercedes and more.
Mr. Brainwash put aside the camera and started attacking the streets in 2006 with stencils and posters of beloved icons and quickly becoming a renowned figure in the burgeoning street art scene.
Armed with wheat paste, spray cans, brushes and paint buckets, he brings his art to the street, the gallery, on screen. From screen prints to stencils and spray paints, it’s a pure sensory experience: sometimes impromptu, always timeless. It reflects human aspirations and a visual social commentary, preaching #FollowYourDreams #LifeIsBeautiful.
Mr. Brainwash has a unique success story, which never followed societal norms or protocol. His shows are journeys – self-guided tours through a pop culture wonderland: joyous and beautiful. His artwork is sometimes impromptu, and like so many of the subjects depicted in Mr. Brainwash’s art, his works are timeless.
